Re: [asa] Defendscience vs. Collins

I'm wondering about just how official the particular statement on the
"Defendscience" site is? I note that at least one of the listed
people, Kevin Padian, has often endorsed concilatory statements in the
past. He's one of the many unbelievers who apparently means well but
doesn't quite get it in dealing with the topic of science and
religion. I'd think he would not approve of the anti-Collins
statement.
