Sorry, I can't. What I said of YECs is a paraphrase of what Medawar wrote (somewhere!) about Teilhard - less fairly, I think, than it can be said of YECs.

I get the impression that Medawar was a bit Pauli-like ("Not even wrong!") as a critic. At the Nobel Conference at Gustavus-Adolphus years ago, the one for the centenary of Darwin's death, Jaroslav Pelikan talked about the Cambridge Platonists, including Ralph Cudsworth. In his response Medawar said that he had read Cudsworth and found him "mind-numbingly dull." I suspect that whatever he may have said about YECs wasn't too gentle.
