I'm sure those who favour the flood hypothesis would like to think so!

First, I have to fess-up that speaking of a guy on a raft with various animals was cited somewhat recklessly in a moment of frivolity: I don't know of a flood story with those specific features apart from a common YEC story (google "Djilinbadu") which does the rounds without any supporting citations - I think it's probably a YEC urban myth.

There are, however, REAL Aboriginal flood stories, three examples of which can be found on the AiG website at: http://tinyurl.com/7qeufk

Personally, I have no idea what to make of these stories but the YEC attempts to make them into a version of Noah's flood are a bit forced, in my humble opinion. The primary problem is that one needs to read them alongside Aboriginal stories to get the meaning of the various narrative elements. And, without labouring the details, when this happens the parallels with the Biblical flood account turn out to be a bit less impressive.
