By failing to hand his wallet over to you, he caused the undesirable
societal consequence of preventing you and whatever accomplices you
could round up from being able to spend his money. By getting some
accomplices, you form a majority and so you can set the societal
standard.
Of course, he also cannot say that punishment is wrong when he is
claiming that there's no right or wrong-not unlike Dawkins, who claims
that there is no right and wrong and that religion is wrong.
