Hey, Michael, not so loud - the last thing I want to do is DISCOURAGE anybody giving me free books - especially those worth reading!

I will say, actually, that I lack ANY good material on geology - so now may be a good time to raise a thought that has occurred before; would you mind suggesting your "top reads" in the area?

I'm thinking NOT just of books that might help in resolving debates on biblical vs geologic chronology (a la Davis), but also of books that would give a good introduction to geology as a science (including the history of geology).

Any ideas for starters?

Blessings,
