FWIW, The moderator below Dr. James Tour was a colleague at Rice of Nobel Laureate Dr. Richard Smalley and was involved with Dr. Ross coming to Rice to share his faith with Dr. Smalley which ended up being successful.
Dr. Ross delivered this stirring eulogy below for Dr. Smalley in 2005.
