[asa] Query about a Genesis commentary

Some time back, someone on the list mentioned a commentary on the early
chapters of Genesis which dealt in detail with the word-play in the Hebrew
that is lost in translation & showed that the word play was present to
illustrate spiritual truths (indicating thereby that the text was figurative
rather than literal). As I recall the poster stated that the author of this
commentary was sceptical of evolution, but not a creationist.

Can anyone recall what the details of this book were? I'm afraid that's all
I can remember.
