I have this reference that I use a lot, The Cambridge Dictionary of Philosophy (2nd ed.) It is one volume, and the entries are between dictionary length and encylopedic, but the entry on epistemology is 6 pages long.

For a paper I'm working on, I need some references (citable references, not Wikipedia) that will neatly summarize the history of western philosophy, particularly epistemology, from the Enlightenment to the present; and also some references that will do the same for the history of the philosophy of science. I have lots of primary materials, but not a handy encyclopedic summary. Can anyone here point me to sources?
