I hope it wouldn't give an appearance of exclusivity or us-vs-them, but perhaps it would be helpful if ASA members would simply add an indication of membership in signatures - e.g.,

  I came here in order to learn something about the broad spectrum of Christian views by ASA members. But, as you told me over the phone, only about 10% of the list are ASA members. Since I don't know who is a member and who isn't it seems difficult to ascertain the views of such members as opposed to non-members. ..............................
