Folks,

I think I shared this back in 2001, but I just rechecked the comparison
of journals that deal with Creation (faith) and science and PSCF still
leads the pack. This work was a footnote to support a statement I made
in an extensive bibliography on science and Christianity in which I
stated that Origin and Design had the least penetration into the
academic libraries - but it is also a much newer periodical. It is
interesting that all of the journals have increased their penetration
with (it looks like CRSQ) having the biggest increase. I probably
won't stay around on the ASA list for very long. I just joined to share
this tidbit with you folks. The acg and some other lists keep me more
than busy.

To check on this statement in 2001 I checked OCLC (the library database
for periodicals and books) to check how many colleges or Universities
had the journals. I checked the figures again in 2006 and include that
number in parenthesis after the 2001 figures. I found Origins and
Design only in 25 (32) libraries while CRSQ was found in 177 (210)
libraries and PSCF in 228 (258) libraries. Part of this may be that
Origins and Design is a much newer periodical.
