RE: request for good library books

Gordon's mentioning "God and the Astonomers" (which I read from annually in
class when I talk about the Big Bang) is a nice recommendation. For the
Christian school students, however, I probably should have put the following
book on my "top 5" list:

Fred Heeren, "Show Me God." Heeren, an evangelist based in Kansas City,
has written a fascinating and clear account of the big bang theory which, in
his opinion, all but proves the truth of Christian theism. I don't quite
take it that far, but the fact that he does is very helpful to our students,
showing them the utter fallacy of the Kent Hovind approach to origins. It's
absolutely ideal for young Christian students, and ought to be in every
Christian school library. I donated a spare copy last year to a local
Christian school, in fact.
