Yes, Janice, they protected their own. They were "religiously committed"
because of the apparent bloc vote to protect members of their community.
Remember, the definition of religion is to be bound back or to be bound
together.
In that definitional sense, they were religiously committed and superbly
performed their civic responsibilities on behalf of their community.
Do you know any Christian communities that can deliver bloc votes like that
and make them stick?
