This is what Craig calls the "B" theory of time. He dismisses it out of
hand. I am not sure why.

Years ago I read a book that was a series of essays in a debate between Craig
and Quentin Smith (a non-theist). Craig and Smith are both A-theorists, and
they talked about it, so that was the little exposure I have on this topic.
Apparently, physicists tend to be B theorists and philosophers tend to be A
theorists. We won't get much understanding of Craig's argument unless we agree to
follow along with him in his A theory view. However, I too tend to think his
argument is bunk for reasons similar to what others have voiced.
