Sorry Joseph but this is wrong, understandings of geological time have
nothing to do with the age of stars and in fact from 1920-1950 or so
geologists reckoned the earth was older than estimates of the age of the
universe. Also please do not make false statemnts that methods are "based
upon the assumption that the stars are much older than the earth. " Unless
of course you can give evidence for that assumption. Your short post
indicates that you do not know how either geology or astronomy actually
works and simply throw out an allegation about "assumptions". I suggest you
research a little on how both geological and astronomical time has been
worked out, not only today but in the past

 Giving this view more "weight" than the Biblical statement that the earth
came first, grants the present theories of science an impregnable stature

Do you also believe the earth to be flat as it is according to Genesis 1 vs
6-8 and Exod 20.4? That is what the Biblicalstatements say
