RE: Shapes of a Wedge

How can any Christian advocate gay marriage when the Bible (both old and new
testament) so clearly speaks out against it? I understand that you are not
personally advocating that position, but you don't seem to see such a
position as contradictory to the Word of God. Please explain.

Since Christians are divided on both those issues, would you then propose
TWO "Christian" parties? That does not seem to make sense.

Suppose I were to form a "Christian" party and advocate, based on what I
believe to be Christ's will, Gay Marriage? I think you would be offended
and say I had falsely "claimed the high moral ground."

But if you were to form a "Christian" party, and advocate, based on what
YOU believe to be Christ's will, an amendment against Gay Marriage, I'd
have to make the same claim against you.

(Note in the above that I personally am not advocating either of those
positions.) They are debate points.
