This discussion left the realm of science long ago.
When one party introduces a legal term of art as some
kind of argument that evolution ==> racism (an argument
itself that did not even purport to be made in a
scientific manner) it is, of course, perfectly
reasonable to explain that term of art from the
standpoint of its correct context, and not at all
required to use scientific precision, as the term comes
from the realm of law, not science.
