         In fact, I have not read any commentor on Gen. 1-11 on this list who has
    argued that these narratives are mythology in any but its technical sense,
    certainly not as equivalent to "fairy tale." If there is any "exaggeration"
    here, it is in the remarks of those who wrongly accuse others of this
    charge. It is wearisome to have to keep defending one's self and others
    against polemical attacks such as these, but I'll continue to do so.
