Now, I love my country. But, even us Americans have our faults :-).

I think this specifically needs to be a faith/science forum.

So, please, no general criticisms from the Europeans!

Quite simply, Hebrew tells us that a day can be an age. Early on
in Genesis, we see quick examples of where "day" is more than a day!

We Americans can be funny. Certainly we can be control freaks.
If the Bible doesn't say what we want, we create the ICR!

I can't help but wonder what the Lord thinks of the ICR. Terry's
previous post was excellent. People search for the truth about
Gen 1. And a lot of us are ending up on day-age.

So, who is responsible for notifying the church that it is perfectly
acceptable to view a day as the beginning of an age?

Well, what about the ICR? Truth suppression is ugly and nasty.
I can't help but think there will be severe consequences.

A recent post doubted the doom of the ICR. Wrong! Once YECs start
realizing how much they've been lied to, "there will be hell to pay."

"Americanizing" the Bible is one thing. Ignoring the Hebrew language
    is quite another.

    Jim
