         I hate to draw this out but cannot forebear noting this as
    confirmation of point
    6 of my earlier post. If the apparent age argument were convincing,
    why would it be
    necessary to appeal to claims about the fine structure constant
    (which, in any case
    wouldn't change 14 x 10^9 years to 6000)?
