    Somebody else brought this up but I lost the name. Anyhow, I am not so
    sure that this was the right tning to do. Paul was selected to be an
    apostle by Jesus and so were all the others besides Matthias. I have
    seen it suggested that the Apostiles were trying to help God and He did
    not need any help.

    Who knows?
