    John writes

    >"The eternal destiny of human beings will be measured by how much or how
    >little solidarity we have displayed with the hungry, the thirsty, the
    >naked and the oppressed. In the end, we will be judged in terms of love."

    >This liberal has that motto taped to his PC monitor.

Before I begin, I will say that John has made a fantastic post about
tolerance and respect for others. (I wonder if he is still filtering
    my e-mails ;).

Now I will accuse John of being completely unscriptural. John, where
is the scriptural back-up for what is taped to your monitor. Call me
an accountant. But I think backup is essential.

Also, I didn't find your post related to science. But, it is a new
thread that passed Terry. So I could either

    A) Criticize the lack of science content
    B) Risk being perceived as "overly theological."

    I've said enough about A).

    B) I would STRONGLY caution you about making public salvation statements
without scriptural backup. The Bible is the Word of God. Where else
can we turn to for "The way, the truth, and the life." I am not a
chapter and verse guy. BUT, I know this is in the NT somewhere!

    Jim
