Well, we've talked and talked and talked about Genesis. Personally,
I think we put Adam at 4,005 BC (exactly 4,000 years before Christ).
We put the flood at 2350 BC.

I am saddened by the ASA's lack of leadership here. This needs to
be "front page news." Genesis in Question doesn't even have a reliable
programmer! But God is big, and He will lead the way.

I do wish that more people would step forward to "hammer out" the days
of Gen 1. For my part, I throw out the idea that the days are long
and overlapping, like "waves of God's creative activity."

FWIW, I believe that the ASA needs to be continually updating Held/Ruest
and Dick Fischer's work. These guys are good, not perfect.

I have been questioned many times about "is it really possible to make
YEC go away?" Of course it is. Just as possible as Sept 11. As soon
as news becomes public, it will be believed. All it takes is one web
site that has the truth about Genesis. Sadly, if the ASA is inactive,
my future posts may be far less pleasant.

    Jim
