The issue has been raised (again) about Adam being the head of
the human race.
If I may interject my psychological two cents.
Gen 6:1 states that "the Sons of God saw that the daughters of
men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever
they chose"
Paul Seely pointed out a little while back that the daughters of
men were Adamites. I don't think that anyone will have any trouble
"getting over" that. Thanks, Paul.
The Sons of God are a different matter entirely? Just who were
these guys (I think the argument that they were angels is absurd).
My belief is that they were Adam and his successors. Here's the
tough psychological parts.
A) Does Adam have to be the head of the human race?
Well, is anyone who lived before Christ going to heaven?
B) Did these "Sons of God" really live for thousands of years?
Maybe this isn't the time for that discussion, but Josephus strongly
backs this up.
