Thanks, Ted, for that excellent statement. Like your friend, I see "ex
nihilo" as an inference (a likely one, IMHO) from scripture, not directly
taught, and so I would hold to it provisionally. David ray Griffin of
course argues against it, but not, I think, persuasively. Excepting only
that part, I endorse your statement entirely.
