I can understand & sympathize with Glenn being appalled & angry about
being called an apostate. Unfortunately there is nothing surprising about it.
Far too many Christians have assumed that the 8th Commandment (9th for
protestants) doesn't apply in theological controversies, & that it's perfectly
OK to bear false witness in these matters. One creationist newsletter told its
readers that I (known to the editor only by an article I'd written) was only in
the ministry for the money. Needless to say, I got no apology when I demanded
it, & I doubt that Glenn will get one from Answers in Genesis. After all,
apologizing means admitting that you've been wrong about something.

    Shalom,

    George
