This seems rather hasty. If the body is created in the
image of the Soul; then the soul is the image of God.
Obviously our Soul's image, like our body image, is the image
of a Man. Therefore, God looks like a Man as far as we are
concerned. A perfect Man.

Since God is the image of the Soul, it is obvious that the
God of an Ape looks like an Ape, and the God of a Giraffe
looks like a Giraffe. All living things therefore have a
common conception of God... namely, that he is the perfected
example of his own kind.
Every living thing has the view that the "World" was
created when he was created, and this is in fact literally true.
As far as Humans are concerned the "World" did not exist
before Homo Sapiens Sapiens were born some 40,000 years ago,
and this event is elaborated in Genesis where Adam and Eve are
the first two H.s.s.
On the other hand a Horseshoe Crab will tell you the "World"
was created 200 million years ago... and in fact will probably
add that there has been damn little progress even in that
length of time.
Interestingly, EVERY living thing has a Cartesian (cross shaped)
Body Plan, both Humans and Horseshoe Crabs, even Plants. Therefore
the "stick figure" of the Cross is a sort of universal representation
of the image of all living things, and therefore is in itself, the
symbol or "image" of God. This has been known since the time
of the Egyptian Ankh which predates the Cross of Christianity by
2 milleniums.
