Announcing the initial meeting of newly reformed Eastern Pennsylvania area
section of American Scientific Affiliation. All interested persons welcome
to attend, no ASA membership necessary.
DATE: Saturday, 28 October
PLACE: Eastern College, St Davids, PA. McInnis Hall, room 120-121. For
directions: http://www.eastern.edu/campus/maps/directions.html
TIME: noon to 4:15 pm
COST: Students free, $5 for others; lunch available at college cafeteria
for nominal cost
PROGRAM: Two-part talk, "Christianity, Science, and the History of
Science," by Edward B. Davis, Professor of the History of Science, Messiah
College. Talk intended for those with little or no background in
religion/science issues. Also short business meeting.
