    Doug here is one set of definitions

    IMHO = in my humble opinion
    TE = trans-ethereal
    ID = a Freudian term, contrasted with ego and superego
    YEC = Yale-enrolled-citizens (they don't like other ivy-league
    schools, especially those established earlier)

    Of course all of these abbreviations reference more than one idea.
    The task of the reader is to see and interpret them in context.
