I know there are numerous medical mission organizations, some of which are
addressing AIDS, though the resources currently allotted to it are
inadequate. It might help to provide publicity and assistance. Does
anyone have contact with the Christian Medical and Dental Society?

The US is indeed starting to experience an increase in AIDS as well, also
    apparently reflecting complacency.

The claim that encouraging monogamy is imposing cultural standards is
doubly doubtful. First, I would be very surprised if it is not
hypocritical. Unless headhunting, forced marriage, smoking in public
areas, and other politically incorrect customs are accepted as something
that should not be discouraged, singling out certain sexual behaviors as
inherent rights is inconsistent. Secondly, labeling honest information
about the health risks of particular behavior as imposition is
unreasonable. It would be imposition to enforce monogamy, rather than
simply informing people. Such imposition could easily be justified by its
health benefits, but it could reasonably be labeled as imposition. In
addition, the majority of Africans claim to be Christian, so advocating
Christian values (not just health considerations) is not an imposition.
