Thanks for the suggestion Kim, but is the way we have been doing in the
past. We used to go from a PC with an SVGA-Video conversion card out to a
Beta-SP deck. The point of doing it within one machine is to retain the best
quality possible. As well, having PowerPoint on the Mac - hypothetically -
would allow me as the editor to make any changes necessary.

Another way is to play it from one system through a scan converter and
digitize it on the fly! Depending on the scan converter you can achieve

If you can get a hold on Adobe Screen Ready, all you would have to do is
print the slides from PowerPoint using the Screen Ready printer driver
and simply import the generated PICTs directly into MC: PowerPoint -> Avid
