Of course a) creation isn't emanation & b) there are big differences between
humans & other animals. I'm just pointing out that distinguishing between humans as
spiritual and other animals as unspiritual doesn't reflect biblical or creedal usage, &
that the Pauline flesh-spirit distinction isn't that of material & immaterial. I am
not trying to impose a specific anthropology.
