Apropos to this discussion is an anecdote related to me by a priest. A
scientist he had just met informed him, "You realize that your religious
feelings are purely a matter of chemicals in your brain."

My friend responded, "You realize that when you make love to your wife, it's
purely a matter of chemicals in your brain."
