Jesus said "A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign" (Matt 16:4a,
NIV)
The Apostle Paul wrote "The Jews demand miraculous signs and the Greeks look for
wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified." (1 Cor 1:22-23a, NIV)
