The direct inference is then to capability. Where many
have stumbled is to accept
the final conclusion that while an entity external to
the universe may have done
all that, the nature of human suffering is so bad that
He could not be very
personal or gracecious.
You forget that there is another being present in this
universe who does have considerable power and is out to subvert and
destroy anything that God does. To steal a phrase "Do not
underestimate the powers of the darkside."
Not really that funny when you think about it.
