I believe the article I saw was in "Science '8_" [title changed with the
year], now incorporated into Discover. Many of the descendants of one
particular person, due to an otherwise insignificant mutation, would look
blue. I do not remember the exact details, but it was easily "treated"
once medical interest developed. Greater mixing with outside gene pools
has about eliminated it.
