>Koran's teaching on creation.
Here is a summary I have made a couple of years ago when I read parts of a
translation of the KORAN (I mention that it was a translation, because we
are wise not to claim to have read the KORAN itself, because Muslems are
taught that the only way to really read or hear it is in Arabic).
The KORAN references are Surah and verse.

GENESIS CONCEPTS IN THE KORAN
[The Koran (Qur'an, the Reading, or Recitation) revered by Muslems, people
of Islam (Surrender) contains many of the truths recorded in the Bible,
mixed with many other ideas, including determinism - fatalism, and
necessity of works to ward off evil (placation).]
Creation of the Heavens and the Earth
The Creator 2:117, 16:17, 59:24
created 7:54, 10:4-5, 16:3-5, 25:59, 31:10, 32:4, 41:9, 50:38, 57:4,
67:2-3
the heavens and the earth 2:117&164; 7:54, 10:4, 11:7, 16:3, 25:59,
31:10, 32:4, 50:38, 57:4, 64:3
on no visible supports 13:2, 31:10
He made firm hills, streams, plants 13:3, 31:10, 41:10
night and day 7:54, 13:3, 35:13
sun and moon 16:12, 71:16
every water animal 24:45
all beasts 13:3, 16:5, 31:10
and mankind 2:21, 4:1, 7:11, 15:26, 16:4, 41:21
with truth 64:3
by His word 2:117, 7:54, 16:40, 40:68,
from no pre-existing matter 59:24
in 6 days 7:54, 10:4, 11:7, 25:59, 32:4, 50:38, 57:4
then He mounted the Throne [finished, resting] 7:54, 10:4, 13:2, 25:59,
32:4, 57:4
with no weariness 50:38
everything He made was good 32:7, 67:3 (71:15)
and He blessed it 41:10
additional notes re: days of creation week:
He created the earth in two days 41:9
then measured its substance four days 41:10
then ordained seven heavens in two days 41:12
re: a Day as 1000 years:
the Day of Doom is 1000 years by our reckoning 22:47
it ascends to Him in a Day, whereof the measure is 1000 yrs 32:5
[70:4 says 50,000 years and the translation has a footnote which
claims that each Day is meant to indicate an indefinite period.]
Creation and Instruction of Man
He made the earth, the sky, for man. 2:22, 2:29, 71:19
He prefers man over the creatures 2:37
He created man 2:21, 4:1, 3:59, 35:11, 71:14
in the same likeness as Jesus 3:59
for dignity 71:13
by His word 3:59
from dust 3:59, 35:11, 40:67
from clay (potter's clay) 6:2, 7:12, 15:26-33, 32:7
then fashioned, shaped 7:11, 32:7-9, 64:3
and breathed into him of His spirit 15:29, 32:9
and from this one soul, its mate (of one, a pair) 4:1, 75:39
male and female 13:3, 75:39, 92:3
He told Adam and his wife to dwell in the Garden 2:35, 7:19
a happy state 2:36, 20:118-119
and eat freely of its fruits 2:35, 7:19
but not to come near one tree, lest they become wrong-doers 2:35, 7:19
He told Adam that Iblis (Satan) was an enemy to him and to his wife
2:168, 7:22, 20:117
(saying let him not drive you out of the garden and to toil 20:117)
He gave mankind power in the earth, and a livelihood 2:10
they were not immortal 7:14, 20; 15:33
He cares for all and directs all 10:4, 24:40-44, 32:5
His Throne was upon the water 11:7
there is no God but Him 16:2
He says to heaven and earth, Come 41:11
all mankind, and angels, are called to worship Him 2:21
additional notes on creating and procreating (which seem to be intermingled):
creating you by (divers) stages 71:14
from dust 3:59
from dust, then a little fluid 35:11, 22:5, 40:67
from a drop of fluid 16:4, 77:20
a fluid which gushed forth 75:37, 86:6
dust, then from a drop (of seed), then a clot 40:67
a clot 96:2
dust, then a drop of seed, then a clot, then a little lump of flesh 22:5
man and the angels:
He told the angels he would create man 2:30, 15:28
He taught man the names, and had him inform the angels 2:31-33
He asked the angels to prostrate themselves before mankind 2:34, 7:11,
20:116
All did so, except Iblis (Satan), who refused, thru pride, 2:34, 7:11,
15:31-33
Iblis (Satan) was cast down. 7:12-18, 15:34-38
he (Satan) curses till the day of judgment 15:35
he (Satan) is permitted to live until the day of Resurrection 7:14-15,
15:35-38
and he was determined to lead mankind astray 7:16-17, 15:39-40
Disobedience (The Fall)
Iblis (Satan) by disobedience became a disbeliever 2:34 (see 2:30-38,
7:11-18, 15:31-40)
Adam and his wife could freely eat of all trees, except one lest they
become wrong-doers 2:35,7:19
Satan whispered to them 7:20, 20:120
he said the tree would make them become of the immortals 7:20, 20:120
(calling it "the tree of immortality and power that wasteth not away"
20:120)
Satan led them on with guile 7:21-22
he caused them to deflect from the right way 2:36
they both ate of it 20:121
he tore off their robe (of innocence) 7:27
then they saw their shame 7: 22, 20:121
they hid using leaves of the Garden 7:22, 20:121 (piling the leaves over
themselves)
their Lord called to them 7:22
they answered, feeling their loss 7:23
Adam received from his Lord words (of revelation) 2:37
they became foes to each other 2:36, 20:123
they were given raiment to conceal their shame 7:26
(but the raiment of restraint from evil, that is best 7:26)
they were expelled them from the (happy) state, as enemies 2:36, 7:24, 20:123
with a limited time on the earth 2:36, 7:24
to live, then to die, and to be resurrected 7:25
they had to go down from the garden 2:38, 20:123
but they would receive from Him a guidance [the Messiah?] 2:38, 20:123
the covenant
Adam forgot the covenant . We found no constancy in him 20:115, 126
Allah still made a covenant -- to believe, and keep your duty 2:41
Adam disobeyed his Lord, so went astray. 20:121
HE chose him, and relented toward him, and guided him 20:122
immortality
they were not immortal 7:14, 20; 15:33
the first death is not the doom of hell 44:56
resurrection
resurrection day is promised 20:124 (and many other places)
a Garden of Immortality is their promised reward 25:15
Whoso followeth My guidance, he will not go astray, nor come to grief 20:123

I have more on the sons of Adam, the Flood, etc., if you are interested.
