Good computer labs

I have used the CLEA software (Jupiter's moons, galactic redshifts,
photometry of Pleiades, radar ranging of Mercury, stellar spectrums)
from Gettysburg College and a sky mapping program for "laboratory"
experiences for my astronomy elective (secondary school).

Can anyone direct me to other useful programs that could be used. I am
interested in topics like simulated evolution of stars, the Cephied
variable distance scale, and others.
