I've been lurking, and at times contributing, to this ASA post for about
ten months now. During that time, I've been challenged by views that
have been expressed by some, encouraged by others, and in general have
come to appreciate that there are a lot of scientists out there who
serve a risen Saviour in word and in deed. They may not always agree on
the exact interpretation of Genesis, but they know and believe that
there is a God Who was powerful enough to call this world into being and
Who was gracious enough to send His only son to earth to die on the
cross. That God is working through them is evidenced in the tone of
their correspondence in this arena.
I've also met some who call themselves Christians but whose strident
tone belies that fact. Is God glorified through a harsh tone?
I leave it to you to answer this question.
Shalom!
