Before I do, in my "abortion" post I was imprecise. The word "murder"
means "willfully and with malice." Either I must remove the words "and
with malice" from the definition, which makes it at odds with the
dictionary, or I must remove the word "murder" from the life structure I
so carefully built. I'll have to think about it.
Here are your definitions (with my changes to them in [ ].
Homosexuality = physical, sexual contact between two men.
[Homosexual activity=physical, sexual contact
between two same-gender entities.]
[Human homosexual activity=physical, sexual contact
between two same gender humans]
[Homosexuality=a tendency or desire to perform homosexual acts]
Note that, with the definitions above, the difference between a tendency
to act and an act is delineated. I think this is important.
"Homoisexuality" is nowhere mentioned in Scripture; neither are railway
trains. Both words were invented less than 200 years ago. There are
people with homosexual tendencies, I believe, who refrain from homosexual
activity. I think you do not wish to include them.
Abortion= interfering with the normal, natural development
of a fetus with intent to terminate life.
[Abortion= interfering with the normal, natural development
of a zygote, embryo or fetus with intent to terminate life.]
Note that miscarriages, which happen "naturally,"
or by accident, are not included in the definition.
abomination= God's view of acts which disobey His laws.
[abomination=some behaviour or thing God specifically disapproves of]
Would you accept these definitions, Moorad? I did work on them a bit, and
I think preciseness is important here.
