Thanks Eduardo for your personal (and humorous) description of some
of your personal history.

ONe essay you might appreciate is "What says the Scripture" by John
Stek in "Portraits of Creation" ed. by H. Van Till. It addresses a lot
of the issues you discuss in your post.
