This sounds cleaver enough. But when you turn the metaphore around it
seems to loose some of its punch. To extend the reasoning:
"If you claim the world is not flat, you are obliged to tell us what
shape you think it really is."
Really?
Maybe the data discrediting "flatness" theory is clear, but "rough
imperfect sphere" theory is not all in yet. And perhaps other theories
are advanced as data are collected and examined.
