But there are animal burrows in nearly every geologic layer. That is
evidence of slow deposition in every layer. There are mud cracks and salt in
many of the layers. How do you deposit salt in a global flood?

I would point you once again to the transitional forms article on my web
page. You seem to want to avoid that.
