I would like to point out that Genesis 1:11 has God commanding a secondary
process to produce life. The verse:

"Then God said, 'Let the LAND produce vegetation:..."

To me this is clearly God using secondary causation. When on considers that
Cairns-Smith has proposed an origin of life scenario in which clay plays a
major role, one must wonder.
