Sometime back I posted some items about how other religions looked at
science from their point of view and in particuar as to whether they saw
modern science confirming their particular views.

yesterday, I met with a former student of mine who is involved with the
Jehovah Witnesses. We had a pleasant chant and I was able to present some
alternatives to his point of view and also gave a word of testimny. In the
course of the coversation he said that he had remembered me when reading a
recent article in 'Watchtower' or 'Awake' concerning science and religion.
He told me it was about 'irreducible complex' systems! From other parts of
the conversation I had with him, I suspect that the Witness movement will
use work done by others for the advancement of their particular doctrines
about God.
