The discussion between Glenn and others is getting interesting, and that
brought up another quesiton that I had for a while, but have not found
any satisfactory answers yet.
Walter Remine, in his book _The Biotic Message_ first brought my
attention to Haldane's dilemma as an unsolved problem in population
genetics (amd applies to evolution). I have since read the original
paper, and to this point, in spite of many claims, I still don't see how
this problem has been satisfactorily resolved. I wonder if anyone could
comment on this.
