Paul Arveson's plea for civility is timely and I support his recommendations.
Indeed on reading the postings related to radiometric dating, I realize how
privileged we have been to be spared such attitude and language on this
list in the past. It makes me appreciate how civil, by comparison, has been
the discussion surrounding Phil Johnson's views!

Let us remember whose we are and resolve to honor God in our language and
attitudes. I plan to be much more careful in what I write, realizing how
easily in arguing an issue I can slip into pointed and hurtful language.
