As one who has spent much time studying Newton's unpublished manuscripts in
England, Jerusalem, Boston other locations, I do not believe that Newton was
an Arian. He is beyond classification and will not allow anyone to put him
into a corner. He was a firm believer in the inspired Word of God. He
believed that if a word was used in Scripture to describe or discuss, God
then we could use that word to describe God.
