With regard to the concept of geocentrism - I know the science, but am far
more ignorant than I should be on the scripture. Could one of you more
knowledgeable people explain how the scriptural references require a
geocentric universe? Is there perhaps an incomplete understanding of what
the scripture is actually saying on the part of those advocating
geocentrism? Or, an alternate question, what is the interpretation of
those particular passages by those who believe in a literal interpretation
of scripture, but do not accept geocentrism?
