That is true. However Armstrong's World Wide Church of God these days is
under new management and supposedly has renounced the strange doctrines of
Garner Ted. According to Christianity Today as well as Christian Research
Institute, WWCOG is now considered in mainstream Christianity by many
people.
What this says about the film is anyone's guess, however.
