My only claim is that whether the flood was entirely natural or miraculous,
it was still about 5000 years ago in Southern Mesopotamia. It was known
about, written about, and left clay deposits at Ur, Kish, Shuruppak, Uruk
(Erech), and Lagash. Not at Ninevah, though, too far north.
